On Independence Day Once again, several medals will be awarded to deserving Finns.

This year’s highest award is the Grand Cross of the Finnish White Rose, awarded to the President of the Supreme Administrative Court Kari Kuusiniemi. The next highest medal, the Grand Cross of the Finnish Lion, will be awarded to the Archaeologist this year. Risto Pelkonen.

Finland Among other things, the former CEO of Nordea will receive the White Rose Commander’s Badge Casper von Koskull and the former mayor of Helsinki Jan Vapaavuori (kok). A total of four of these command marks are issued.

The Deputy Secretary of State, among others, will receive the Finnish Lion’s first-class commander’s badge Timo Lankinen and the Secretary-General of the World Meteorological Organization Jukka Taalas. A total of five of these command tokens are issued.

The Finnish White Rose Medals are awarded to deserving citizens in the service of the homeland, and the Finnish Lion Medals are awarded in recognition of considerable civilian and military merit.

Decorations awarded by the President of the Republic will be presented to the laureates on Independence Day.

Finland The actor will receive the Lion’s Pro Finlandia Medal this year Hannu-Pekka Björkman and an opera singer Johanna Rusanen-Kartano. A total of 10 artists and writers will receive the medal.
