Dead Island 2: two new trailers, one presents the gameplay, the other announces the opening of pre-orders

Dambuster Studios and Deep Silver have published two trailers from Dead Island 2one to show the gameplay of the game, the other to announce the opening of pre-orders, all on the occasion of the showcase dedicated to this highly anticipated return.

The gameplay footage, called “Welcom to HELL-A”, shows the heavenly game world transformed into hell by the presence of zombies and various creatures. So expect the usual struggle for survival based on loot to collect and hordes of undead to exterminate or escape from.

According to the video, a fair amount of mobility will also be guaranteed, with the possibility of running, throwing objects and jumping. We haven’t seen any Dying Light parkour sequences, so we imagine that from this point of view the experience will be more traditional. On the other hand, the movie presents a rich arsenal, with blood that literally flows in rivers and brutal killings. There will be moments of atmosphere and other dramatic ones. Let’s see the video:

As for reservations, Dead Island 2 is available in the standard edition, in the Deluxe and in the Gold one.

Also available is a physical edition for collectors, called Hell-A Edition, which includes the Expansion Pass, a steelbook package with a drawing by Julian Totino Tedesco, the map of Venice Beach, pins, patches, tarot cards made from Roberto Ricci, an Amy figurine, plus various bonus content, in the form of two weapon packs. The first, called the Golden Weapons Pack, includes Sam B’s gun and Abuela’s ashes bat. The second, called the Pulp Weapons Pack, includes the Eye Opener harpoon and the Homewrecker hammer.
