Dead Cells continues to expand and does so now with a paid DLC (4.99 €): let’s talk about The Queen and the Sea, which will be released in the first quarter of 2022. Additionally, the development team has confirmed another year of support for the rogue-like metroidvania game.
The Queen and the Sea introduces a new ending to Dead Cells that concludes the journey started with The Bad Seed and Fatal Falls. This paid expansion will include two new biomes: Infested Shipwreck and Lighthouse, which will run parallel to High Peak Castle and the Throne Room.
The team also said the DLC will help them fund the next ea project continue to publish updates for Dead Cells. After the launch of the DLC, “many more free things” will be released and will continue to do so for at least another year. Already now there is various content already planned and in development with some new ideas, according to the team. Basically, Dead Cells fans will have their teeth in the dark.
