In the meantime, the previous Livonia DLC, initially distributed for a fee, will be substantially merged with the main game, forming version 1.25 of DayZ, which does not yet have a release date but about which further information should emerge during this month.

The expansion introduces the new setting called “Sakhal archipelago“, which introduces new survival challenges within 83 square kilometers of volcanic land, frozen seas and menacing terrain, it seems.
A whole new area
In essence, it is above all a new area in which the typical survival activities also seen in the other DayZ maps will take place, with a certain emphasis placed precisely on the difficulties posed by the wild nature in this new area.
In short, beyond the typical threats posed by various creatures and players, Frostline will be particularly focused on the natural difficulties that can strongly influence the possibilities of survival of users, while they seek refuge in a possible safe place within Sakhal.
