The unmistakable style of Red Hook Studios returns in Darkest Dungeon II.
It comes back to talk about Darkest Dungeon II, the sequel to the highly acclaimed, albeit difficult, indie title from Red Hook Studios, which is preparing to make its debut in Early Access on PC, exclusively on the Epic Games Store.
For the occasion, the developers have released a game launch trailer, which shows us the new characters and new settings of the upcoming Early Access version.
Unlike the previous game, in Darkest Dungeon II the player will not venture into dangerous and dark dungeons, but will lead a caravan made up of 4 heroes engage in the exploration of a world in ruins, with the aim of reaching a mysterious mountain. Of course, as a good roguelike, the title will propose events and random encounters, and, depending on the decisions made, more or less strong bonds can be formed between the characters.
Darkest Dungeon II Early Access will propose 9 classes, including the Man at Arms, the Leper, the Jester and the Grave Robber, and the first complete act of history. As they progress, players will be able to unlock different character skills and use powerful artifacts.
Darkest Dungeon II will be released in Early Access on PC, via Epic Games Store, on October 26.
