We brought you a news earlier this year in which Bandai Namco was about to shut down the series PvP servers Dark Souls as a serious flaw would have been found. The servers were supposed to be back online at the launch of Elden Ring but unfortunately this did not happen. In this period of time of more than 100 days, fans have not received any information about it.
However, this seems to be about to change: as reported by PCGamer, the newspaper has written explanations to FromSoftware regarding the putting online of the servers. Now in response to an email, the team wrote the following.
“We are currently restoring the online servers for the Dark Souls series on PC. We plan to progressively restore the online service for each game, restoring the servers for Dark Souls 3 once the necessary work is completed to correct the problem.“.
“We will provide further updates as soon as the recovery program is finalized. We want to thank all of our players for their patience and understanding as we work to resolve this issue“.
As reported by the site and the email, Dark Souls 3 could be the first to get back the PvP servers. We just have to wait for further details from Bandai Namco or FromSoftware; it is true that perhaps you begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
