British actor Charlie Cox, who plays Daredevil, wants the character to work for a mature audience. Matt Murdock returned to the UCM in Spider-Man: no way home and after the move of the Marvel series on Netflix to Disney +, the New York superhero and lawyer could return for a fourth season.
In an interview for Comic Book, ‘El Diablo de Hell’s Kitchen’ spoke about the possibility of the study adapting the dark tone of the series to make it more family-friendly.

“If they want to make a more PG version of Daredevil, I support them to find a way to do it and make it feel totally in line with everything we’ve doneCox said.
“AND maybe there is a little less bloodmaybe there is a little less of whatever, but I support them to do it, “he added.

Charlie Cox wants a Daredevil for adults
However, despite his enthusiasm and support for any decision by Marvel, Charlie Cox also hinted that it would be easier to keep the adult tone of the series.
For the British actor, Matt Murdock is a character that works best when he lives in a “darker space” and not so much in an environment for family audiences.

“You can’t deny that Daredevil will never work as well in a PG world as Spider-Man does. You know what I mean? I think that the character’s age, christian guilt, his history with women and stuffit’s as if he were a little more mature, “he clarified.
At the moment, despite the fact that Charlie Cox himself has confirmed that we will see more of Daredevil, the truth is that the character’s future remains uncertain until official confirmation from Marvel.
