videoHow do you create a children’s corner where the children can play safely, where there is enough storage space for the toys and which also looks nice? Stylist of vtwonen Eva van de Ven shows you how to approach this in a number of steps.

In the second episode of the vtwonen De Stijl van Eva series, the stylist visits Daniëlle and Sander in Nijmegen. The toys are scattered throughout the living room. “Because it is such a large space, it is difficult to create a cozy children’s corner,” says Daniëlle. “There is something everywhere that might make it too much of a children’s paradise.”
Eva immediately makes plans when Daniëlle goes into the kitchen with family to make syrup jokes from Nijmegen. She turns the dining table a quarter turn so that one large space is created to dress the children’s corner. “Of course there will be a rug, because children like to play on the floor,” says Eva. She hangs plants from the ceiling. “With this you create an invisible partition wall, as it were, and the corner becomes cozier. A nice budget tip is that you tie the plant hangers yourself.”
Daniëlle and Sander are happy with the result. ,,All the colors that we like and the table across is actually also good.”
