The club has formalized the termination of the three players
Real Murcia waited until August 19 to make the team’s first departures official. Dani García and Fran García, who entered all the pools for weeks, cease to belong to the pepper club and point to the Second RFEF, where they have offers.
But the surprise was the dismissal of Borja Martínez, who signed for Real Murcia this summer from UD Sanse. The physical problems created doubts from the first moment, from the player’s medical examination and, finally, he ended up with the footballer out of the team without having put on the maroon shirt.
Borja, who had already chosen number 11, ends his grana stage earlier than expected. He was signed knowing the club of the injury that he was dragging and that he would need time to recover. The player came to train with the group and, in public statements, Mario Simón stated that he would soon be ready to join the day-to-day at the same level as the rest of his teammates.
This frees up three senior players for the time being, waiting to find out what will happen to other players like Boris Kouassi, whose number was used by Miku in the last pre-season friendly. He points out that the Ivorian will end up leaving, and Santi Jara and Armando Ortiz continue on the list of candidates.
The reactions on social networks were immediate regarding the departure of Borja Martínez, where several fans disagreed with this decision. Messages such as “The Borja thing is a shame” or “What the club has done with Borja has neither head nor tail” can be read in reaction to the club’s statement on their social profiles.
Match against Águilas to close the preseason
The preseason does not end this Saturday, with the double confrontation against Melilla and Real Mallorca «B». The Grana team announced that they will face each other next Wednesday, August 31, at El Rubial against Águilas FC.
A new preparation match that will catch the granas with the competition started, since on Saturday 27 they will debut against Calahorra at the Enrique Roca. This duel will serve as preparation for the aquiline club, which will know this Friday if it keeps the vacant place in the Second RFEF.
Tornel–Moreno meeting in Campoamor
On the morning of this Friday, the Cordovan businessman Felipe Moreno met with Francisco Tornel, one of the largest shareholders of Real Murcia, in the town of Campoamor. Moreno, who intends to join the grana club, had a pending meeting with Tornel to exchange views and for Moreno to tell Tornel about his plans if he agrees to manage the club.
Tornel welcomes Felipe Moreno’s entry into Real Murcia as long as the line of work is to reduce debt, reach agreements with creditors and seek viability for the club.
