Dani Alves last Wednesday signed the new contract that will bind him to Barcelona until the end of the season. Then the nice presentation at the Camp Nou with his usual smile and style, also confirmed by the flip flops, exactly like the first time in 2008.
The full-back’s adventure will be able to officially begin on the pitch only from January but there is already talk of the contract and the future. In particular, a special clause inserted in the agreement between the parties. RAC1 has revealed, in fact, a curious detail contained within the Brazilian player’s contract with Barcelona: one release clause that will work … on the contrary.
Generally, in fact, it is the companies that set the clauses to prevent their members from starting at lower figures than expected. But in this case, it will be the other way around. It seems that Dani Alves has accepted a particular agreement that will have to pay a fine of 100 million euros if he leaves Barcelona before 30 June. The club took precaution, therefore, to avoid the possible farewell of the player before the end of the agreement in June 2022.
