The National Police and Civil Guardin collaboration with forensic doctorshave currently counted some 23 active files for disappearance reports in the province of Valencia by the great Isolated Depression at High Levels (DANA), as reported ‘Europa Press‘.

This figure, taking into account yesterday’s data, represents a decrease of nine active disappearance cases. And what is it due to? Well, it is clear: increase of identifications among the deceased, the increase in complaints and the location of missing alive.
In turn, the figure of fatalities recorded since the emergency occurred, October 29, 2024remains at 214, according to the statistical balance with the accumulated historical data of the Data Integration Center (C.I.D.), closed at 8 p.m. this Monday, November 11, 2024.

To the total of those deceased peopleit should be noted, they have already been practiced the autopsy and 211 of them are fully identified (166 by fingerprints, 42 by DNA and three by living hospital identification). Meanwhile, there are only three unidentified bodies.
As has been strongly indicated by the Superior Court of Justice of the Community of Valencia to (TSJCV), both parameters, active disappearances and the total number of fatalities, are different, so “They should not be added in any case“.
