The town councils of Elche, Santa Pola and Crevillent (Alicante)in the Baix Vinalopó region, have decided to suspend classes in the educational centers of their municipalities for this Tuesday before the alert for heavy rains decreed by the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET). In the case of the province of Valencia, the town Naquera has decreed the suspension of classes at the CEIP Emilio Lluch and at the nursery school and has also done so Engueraaccording to Levante-EMV.

Universities
On the other hand, the University of Valencia (UV) has declared emergency level 1 as of this Monday at 2:00 p.m. In this emergency situation, they have indicated in a statement published on their website, “non-attendance at activities that involve attendance control, including exams, will not be detrimental” to the academic performance of students, when circumstances arise that “justifiably prevent the movement of students to the campuses”.
Therefore, they have pointed out, the scheduled exams will not be suspended, but those people who cannot attend the call for these justified reasons will take the exam on an alternative date.
