Damaris was found lifeless in the shower of a motel in Comalcalco

Damaris, 30, was found dead in the bathroom of a motel a in Comalcalco, Tabasco, the night of this Sunday, June 2.

The victim, mother of two girls, was located by the motel staff located in the vicinity of the Chichicapa village, which was preparing to clean the room.

Around ten at night, the motel staff reported to the authorities that a lifeless woman was lying in the shower of the room marked with the number 1.

The preliminary report indicates that Adamaris, who was originally from the Gregorio Méndez ranchería, had entered the motel an hour before being murdered in the company of a man in a taxi, which did not have the economic number labeled, a situation that caught the attention of the staff of the hotel.

However, the hasty departure of the vehicle minutes before the discovery did not allow us to confirm whether both occupants left the place together.

The first investigations carried out by the State Attorney General’s Office revealed Adamaris’ cause of death was mechanical asphyxiation due to strangulation.
