To celebrate its fifty years of existence, Dallara has decided to present a special version of the Stradale, called D50. A true celebration of the first half-century of life of the Parma car manufacturer, this limited edition of the sports car is characterized by a livery totally hand painted in gold and black color: matt graphite black to identify carbon, a key competence of the company, and champagne gold to celebrate the first fifty years with an eye towards the future.
Being a collector’s version of the Dallara designed as a tribute to the company’s history, the Parma house has decided to embellish the livery with some graphics inherited from the SP1000, the first car made by the company. Not only that: to these elements are added several details that are present on all the cars ordered and that will be delivered by the brand in 2022, the year of Dallara’s fiftieth anniversary: let’s think of the hubcaps with the D50 logo, the same D50 emblem inside the visible instrumentation. when starting, or the buttons of the controls anodized in gold color up to the same golden finish that characterizes the central part of the key. To complete the overview, the customized car cover with the D50 logo and the plate dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the company, embellished with the words “In Dallara since 1972 roots and future grow together”.
Like any self-respecting Dallara Stradale, the special D50 version of the sports car is also equipped with a 2.3 turbo engine of Ford origins, capable of unleashing 400 hp of maximum power, a specification that makes it possible to sprint from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.25 seconds. The car also boasts a respectable weight / power ratio, thanks to a total mass of 855 kilograms. “The D50, a collector’s version of the Dallara Stradale, totally hand painted, was presented yesterday – Dallara writes on its official Facebook account – Gold and black together to express two fundamental concepts: competence & heritage“.
