Czech president Miloš Zeman returned to the hospital on Thursday after receiving a positive corona test result, a presidential spokesman said in a statement Thursday night.

Zeman had been admitted from the hospital for home care just a few hours earlier on Thursday morning. In the afternoon, he was diagnosed with a corona infection.

The 77-year-old president has received treatment for his liver problems. He was hospitalized in early October.

According to local media, Zeman has received three doses of coronary vaccine and is asymptomatic so far.
