Cycling|An illegal track for mountain bikers has been built in the forest in Viikki, Helsinki. The city has taken the matter to the police.
To be valuable the forest classified as a vegetation area in Viikki has experienced so much damage that the city of Helsinki has asked the police to investigate the construction of an unauthorized mountain bike track.
Unknown mountain bike enthusiasts have built massive jumps, cut down trees and bushes and dug holes in the terrain. The walnut bushes have been mowed to the ground and the vegetation has been trampled.
