Cycling Mollema the strongest in the Pyrenees in France

The overall competition is led by Slovenian Tadej Pogačar.

Dutch Bauke Mollema was the fastest road cycler in the 14th leg of the tour of France. He escaped the stage in the mountain scenery of the Pyrenees well in advance and stylized the winner of the 184-kilometer journey. Austria Patrick Konrad and Colombia Sergio Higuita were 1.04 minutes behind the Dutchman. Mollema pedaled at the stage of Saturday 4.16.16.

“A super hard day, but I’m happy. I got to ride in a nice group, and we did the chores. I drove alone for the last 45 kilometers or so, which was a tough task, ”Mollema said in a field interview sent by Eurosport.

Slovene Tadej Pogačar lead the competition by 4.04 minutes away from France To Guillaume Martin. On Sunday, a leg of just over 191 kilometers will be driven on heavier mountain roads. The round trip ends on July 18 in Paris.
