According to a recent interview with the Polish business newspaper Rzeczpospolita, Adam Kiciński, president of CD Projekt, expressed his thoughts about it Cyberpunk 2077, underlining how it will become a great game, as soon as the various errors are corrected. The title got off to a not-quite-perfect start last year, which even led to its temporary disappearance from the PlayStation Store.
A trend of this type had already appeared recently on Steam but the president of CD Projekt is convinced that this game will be remembered for many years, similar to what happened for the series The Witcher. Kiciński also had the opportunity to talk about the future, in particular regarding the updates, which will come out starting in 2022.
Releasing a game in a new franchise comes with a lot of challenges and risks, especially when the concept is so complex. We have created a huge and vibrant futuristic city called Night City, where the non-linear stories of the characters take place. We are proud of many aspects of the game, but as we know, not everything went our way. However, the awareness of the Cyberpunk brand that we have managed to build is enormous, and the game universe, its characters and details have fans all over the world.
The CEO also wanted to say a few words about the latest generation console version, whose release was recently postponed:
We believe Cyberpunk 2077 will be perceived as a great game in the long run, and like our other titles, it will sell for years – especially as the hardware gets more powerful over time and we improve the game. We are working on continuous updates, and we are also working on a version for the latest generation consoles. Of course, the original release taught us a lot. It has given us a boost and motivated us to make changes that will make us better in the future.
CD Projekt has said it believes Cyberpunk 2077 will be considered “a very good game” in the long run, as it improves the title.https://t.co/MitFsuBZ7e

It therefore appears that the CEO of CD Projekt be convinced that in the future Cyberpunk 2077 it will be remembered as an excellent game, despite the not the best start about a year ago. The team is doing everything to be able to fix the various errors and give the audience the experience that was promised when it was announced.
