In the Kharkiv region will impose a curfew on the Independence Day of Ukraine
In the Kharkiv region, on the Independence Day of Ukraine, which is celebrated on August 24, a curfew will be introduced. This was announced by the head of the regional administration Oleg Sinegubov in his Telegram-channel.
According to him, the ban on free movement outside the place of residence will last more than a day, from 19:00 on August 23 to 07:00 on August 25. During the curfew, residents are prohibited from moving around the city on foot or by transport, and are in public places. “We ask you to treat such measures with understanding and prepare for staying at home and in shelters – this is our safety,” the message says.
Earlier it was reported that the head of the Kyiv State Military Administration Nikolai Zhirnov instructed the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko to ban mass events from August 22 to 25 in the capital. The authorities of the city fear that these days attacks on critical infrastructure, military and industrial facilities may be inflicted.
