Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Following the indication of the Governor of Sinaloa, Dr. Rubén Rocha Moya, the State Secretary of Health, Héctor Melesio Cuén Ojeda, supervised the Mazatlan Carnival State Health Operation 2022where he verified the installation and operation of sanitary filters, the application of rapid tests and air monitoring for the detection of Covid-19 in closed rooms.
From Plazuela Machado, the also General Director of Health Services in the State, recalled that this operation has the objective of avoiding the least possible contagion by Covid – 19 and saves the health of Sinaloans, so he urged to the citizens who attend the Carnival in Mazatlan to adhere to the established health measures; use of mouth covers, healthy distance and use of antibacterial gel, mainly.
“A very clear instruction from Governor Rocha Moya, where we are taking care of this Covid-19 pandemic as much as possible, does the least harm to people, that is what we are doing, prevention is the best thing that exists, no stop using the mouth cover, the mouth cover plays a fundamental role, as well as as far as possible keep a healthy distance, ”he said.
The person in charge of Health in Sinaloa, reported that people who present symptoms will be able to go to the modules located in Plazuela Machado, Monumento el Pescador and Valentinos, for the application of the antigen test, which is free.

He stated that medical personnel will be available to care for people who test positive in rapid tests to give them instructions on what to do and how to act, so that they have timely care and cut the chain of contagion.
