During a recent interview with IGN, Mariko Satoproducer of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion talked a little about the game, rattling off some interesting details on the performance of the title, in particular on PS5 And Xbox Series X / S.
Sato reportedly said Square Enix wants the game to be “visually aligned and up to the standards of Final Fantasy 7 RemakeIn addition to this it was announced that the game is being developed on Unreal Engine 4.
In the meantime, it has also been confirmed that the remastered version of the RPG will run at 60 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S, while on PC it will aim for a whopping 120 FPS. Details on the Nintendo Switch version of the game remain unknown for now, but Sato says there will be “differences” in the frame rate and resolution of that version. As for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, Sato hasn’t said anything about it.
