Chairman of the Public Chamber of Crimea Oleksandr Formanchuk commented on the dictionary developed by the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine in connection with the “occupation of Crimea and Donbass.” Writes about it RIA News…
According to Formanchuk, “the Ukrainian authorities live in an unreal and fictional world if they think they can somehow force Russia to return Crimea or stop supporting the people of Donbass.” He called the idea of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine ignorant, noting that “the incantations of the Kiev authorities have already set the teeth on edge.” According to him, responsible politicians cannot ignore the current realities.
The Chairman of the Civic Chamber of Crimea also stressed that the issue of the status of the peninsula has been finally resolved. “If someone in their sick fantasies thinks that Russia can be destroyed and thus regain the Crimea, then they are just crazy,” he said.
Earlier it was reported that the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine has developed a special “anti-occupation glossary”, which recommended for use by Ukrainian officials, diplomats and journalists. In particular, the document states that instead of “in Ukraine” one should write “in Ukraine”, and instead of “in Donbass” one should say “in Donbass”. It is recommended to call the reunification of Russia and Crimea “the Russian invasion of Crimea” or “the temporary occupation of Crimea by Russia.”
