I’m 875 new covid infections in Tuscany according to today’s bulletin, September 14th. There are also 4 other deaths. 181 cases confirmed with molecular swab and 694 by rapid antigen test. The total number of cases in the region rises to 1,387,423 since the start of the Coronavirus health emergency. New cases are 0.1% more than the previous day’s total. The healed grew by 0.1% and reached 1,297,123 (93.5% of total cases). Today 1,044 molecular swabs and 6,008 rapid antigenic swabs were performed, of which 12.4% were positive. On the other hand, 1,576 subjects were tested today (with antigenic and / or molecular swab, excluding control swabs), of which 55.5% were positive. The currently positive are 79,591 today, + 0.2% compared to yesterday. The hospitalized are 189 (1 more than yesterday), of which 7 in intensive care (1 more). Today there are 4 new deaths: 2 men and 2 women with an average age of 85 years.
These are the data – ascertained at 12 noon today on the basis of the requests of the National Civil Protection – relating to the progress of the epidemic in the region.
The average age of the 875 new positives today is approximately 43 years (10% are under 20 years old, 19% between 20 and 39 years old, 32% between 40 and 59 years old, 30% between 60 and 79 years old, 9% have 80 years or older).

There are 307 cases found today in the ASL Center, 330 in the North West, 238 in the South East.
Tuscany is in 10th place in Italy in terms of number of cases (including residents and non-residents), with about 37,570 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (Italian average about 37,270 x100,000, yesterday’s figure). The provinces of notification with the highest rate are Lucca with 38,577 cases x100,000 inhabitants, Pisa with 38,520, Livorno with 38,179, the lowest Prato with 35,028.
Overall, 79,402 people are in isolation at home, as they have mild symptoms that do not require hospital care, or are symptom-free (179 more than yesterday, plus 0.2%).
The people hospitalized in the beds dedicated to Covid patients today are a total of 189 (1 more than yesterday, plus 0.5%), 7 in intensive care (1 more than yesterday, plus 16.7%).
The total people healed are 1,297,123 (691 more than yesterday, plus 0.1%): 0 people clinically healed (stable compared to yesterday), that is, who became asymptomatic after presenting clinical manifestations associated with the infection and 1,297,123 (691 more than yesterday, plus 0.1%) declared healed in all respects, the so-called viral healings, with negative swab.
Today there are 4 new deaths: 2 men and 2 women with an average age of 85 years. Regarding the province of residence, the deceased people are: 2 in Florence, 2 in Siena.
10,709 have died since the beginning of the epidemic as follows: 3,358 in Florence, 876 in Prato, 965 in Pistoia, 683 in Massa Carrara, 1,007 in Lucca, 1,211 in Pisa, 811 in Livorno, 680 in Arezzo, 564 in Siena, 400 in Grosseto, 154 people died on Tuscan soil but were residents outside the region.
The Tuscan raw mortality rate (number of deaths / resident population) for Covid-19 is 290.0 x100.000 residents against 297.7 x100.000 of the Italian average (9th region). As for the provinces, the highest mortality rate is found in Massa Carrara (359.8 x100.000), Florence (336.3 x100.000) and Pistoia (332.5 x100.000), the lowest in Grosseto (183.6 x100.000).
