Barbara Marugo and her father
Barbara Marugo’s letter to her father: retired head physician, who died in a hospital in Genoa, the same hospital where he worked
Barbara Marugo, who today works as an agent of the local police in Milan, recently lost his father, a retired primary, died last December in a hospital in Genoa, the same where he worked all his life as an endocrinologist. While she awaits the autopsy examination to ascertain the cause of her death, her daughter dedicates a letter to the parent, which we publish in full at the bottom of the article.
“My father for 23 days he fought against Covid and was negativized in the ward“, says Barbara Marugo to Affaritaliani.it. He was vaccinated with two Pfizer doses. “Other invisible enemies”, however, he continues, “have snatched him from this earth.”
“He called me every day because he was thirsty and hungry, they forgot about him, not even giving him the replacement infusions for meals”, says the daughter. “But these are technical things that will ascertain the autopsy, while the 30 kilos she lost in 23 days of hospitalization are made detectable by anyone.”
Then he focuses on the care intended for the father within the Covid ward. “He asked me to send emails to the ward every day so they wouldn’t give him morphine, but despite this the Covid ward insisted on giving it to him anyway against his will.”
The daughter also says she sent several mail to the hospital ward, which have never been answered. “I sent at least fifteen, but nobody answered. When they came to my father’s room they told me they would give him morphine when he was asleep, so he wouldn’t notice.” “He would have liked to see his medical records, but that wasn’t possible either.”
“My father also realized that with the doses of insulin they gave him, since he was not diabetic, they had sent him into an overdose of cortisone, giving him ‘artificially’ an extra risk factor. He was very worried, the treatments. in his opinion they were not appropriate but rather inconsistent attempts. “
The full text of the letter
For us death is only silence, but for you in me it is not yet …
You told me: “I don’t want insulin because I’m not diabetic … I’m just overdosed on cortisone … a side effect, an extra risk factor for covid”
You, very good internal medicine doctor, spoke to me from your hospital bed …
You for everyone today are just enclosed in a corner of silence, but in me you still talk and you say “Barbara, the solution is in the micro doses of interferon … of course, they compensate for the deficiencies of the defenses of innate immunity …” who knows what you meant, who knows what you mean? Only among great clinics do you understand each other!
And me? What should I do?
What do you still want to give us, dad?
Let’s hope for the great clinicians then, let’s hope for the great doctors now! They sure will know what to do with these words of yours.
Dedicated to my dad, prof. Mario Marugo
AG of PM of Milan Dr. Barbara Marugo
