No region tomorrow (Friday 20 August) should go yellow. According to what is learned, in fact, it seems likely that there will be no ordinances for the passage of the regions. The one most ‘attentive’ to a passage of color from white to yellow seemed to be Sicily which, however, has now registered a stability in the values (10% intensive and 17% medical area).
According to Agenas data, already last Tuesday, however, the day in which the data used on Friday for the Control Room are normally taken, this threshold had been exceeded, but sources following the dossier explain that these data are not updated in real time. (unlike the flow that reaches the Ministry of Health) compared to the increase in beds in the meantime put in place, which by increasing the denominator would have brought back, albeit by very little, the value below the 10% threshold. No doubt about the other two parameters, namely ordinary beds (at 17%, against a threshold of 15%) and the incidence (over 140 against a threshold of 50), but intensive care could “save”, at least this week, the island from the passage in yellow.
If the rumors were confirmed, Italy would still remain a whole week in the white zone, the other regions being more at risk, Sardinia and Calabria, with some parameters still far from the thresholds.
