Four Italian regions are highlighted in red on the map on the epidemiological situation updated today by the ECDC: Marche and Tuscany are added to Sicily and Sardinia. The Covid epidemiological situation in Italy, measured by the European Center for Disease Control and Prevention, is therefore further worsening, based on the incidence of positive cases at 14 days per 100 thousand inhabitants, combined with the positive rate on tests carried out.
While much of the rest of the Peninsula, to a greater extent than last week, is in yellow. Only three regions remain green – Puglia, Molise, Valle d’Aosta – and the autonomous province of Bolzano.
Broadening the gaze beyond national borders, almost all of Spain stands out in dark red, the southern area of France, including Corsica, the north of Ireland, some islands of Greece, such as Crete.
