Covid, infinite health emergency: they will also violate the domicile of citizens
I want to raise the following question: whether, as seems evident, for the Technosanitary Leviathan there is no right that cannot be revoked, if it is a question of protecting life in danger due to the emergency, what prevents us from thinking that the citizens’ domicile will soon be violated?
If, how can they say, even this will serve to defeat the invisible enemy, how can one ever oppose it? Referring to the Constitution, someone will say: but if the reference to the Constitution were enough, they would not have reached limit the freedom of assembly, travel and work. The truth is that it has taken a very dangerous path: no right is safe anymore, because every right can be removed, as long as this is done for reasons of health.
The raising of the right to health to a single right entails, by this very fact, the possible dismissal of all the others, according to what Carl Schmitt he would have called “the tyranny of values” and that today we could call “the tyranny of the right to health”.
Natural, then, that the legitimate question may arise: is it the emergency that needs the limitation of rights or is now the limitation of rights which, in order to be fulfilled, Does legitimizing and lasting need a state of emergency? The rights – it is said – will be returned when the emergency is over: the problem, however, is that the emergency will not end, since it is the new normal.
