Private spies sneaking into clandestine parties. It looks like the plot of a thriller film, but instead it is the reality of Ibiza, the European capital of entertainment. Or the former European capital of entertainment, given the climate from Covid. The fact is the local administration has just hired an army of private investigators to infiltrate the clandestine parties organized on the island, as reported by the newspaper “El Pais”, according to which given the lack of police officers, but also of laws to counteract the activities of citizens in private homes, the island’s administration has decided to focus on an agency of private investigators.
Clandestine parties in villas and chalets
At the moment, given the rules and restrictions, the parties no longer take place in the clubs as they used to be but in villas and chalets specially used to host parties that last several days. The investigators’ selections are also very peculiar: they are foreign citizens aged 30 or 40 who are in fact infiltrated into clandestine parties. The vice president of the island’s administration, Mariano Juan, explained that the parties are organized by genuine business organizations, run by foreigners, who promote these events and collect a lot of money.
Investigators called to stop the holidays
Private investigators, whose activity remains in the utmost discretion in order not to make it less effective, should nevertheless be able to even prevent the carrying out of these illegal parties, reporting them to the police during the organizational phase.
