PARIS. France will become the first EU country on Friday to make Pfizer’s anti-Covid pill available, the first coronavirus pill approved in the EU. This was announced by the Ministry of Health, explaining that the country has received the first 10,000 doses of the drug Paxlovid and that they will be available from Friday in pharmacies. According to EMA guidelines, adults with symptoms that do not need oxygen and are at high risk for severe symptoms will be able to receive it. Stocks of the drug remain limited worldwide.
