“The private health structures, which have always provided citizens with services, including emergency services, even in full emergency” Covid-19, have been “involved in the management of the pandemic” in a “small and marginal” way. For this reason, FederAnisap, the national Federation to which 5,000 authorized and accredited private national clinics and clinics belong, expressed “their concern”, through the mouth of the national president, Mauro Potestio, and the president of the Lazio regional office, Valter Rufini, who they also consider it “anachronistic that the Regions still do not turn to private health structures” for the abatement of waiting lists and for a series of services, starting with the execution of rapid swabs.
“It is now becoming inappropriate and anachronistic – say the Federsanità leaders in a note – that the Regions still do not turn to private health facilities for the elimination of waiting lists, for the execution of rapid swabs for ministerial employees and for others services useful for national recovery; that the very high clinical, diagnostic and subsidy level for the population that these structures provide, also in collaboration with the public service, is not taken into consideration, especially in a time of drastic reduction of clinical diagnostic paths of prevention, which have not been provided in the last 2 years “.
The Federation therefore says it is “available to any discussion, at any level, to give that assistance which today is strongly requested by citizens”. “We want to tell the Government – continues the note – that there are private and accredited health structures. They are active and available, present throughout the territory, carrying out all types of checks, suitable for medical health structures and clinical diagnostic paths useful for abatement of waiting lists, willing to collaborate in all respects, including economic ones, to meet the needs of the population “.
