Brazil has decided to limit entry into the country to travelers fully vaccinated or recovered from Covid-19. Upon arrival, travelers will also need to show a negative test. The new rules, the government announced, are in effect immediately. Travelers will need to provide proof of vaccination directly to airlines before embarking on flights to the country.
The government previously rejected the implementation of these new rules, but has now been forced into the decision after a ruling by the Federal Supreme Court of Brasilia. The Anvisa health agency had also recommended the measures.
