Quarantine measures remain in only five schools in Russia due to the spread of coronavirus. This is stated in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Education “Big Change of the Russian Federation” on Tuesday, January 12.

This is 0.01% of the total number of schools in the country.
As of January 11, 0.06% of individual classes were closed.
On December 10, it was reported that 108 schools in 34 subjects were quarantined in Russia due to COVID-19.
At the end of November, all universities in Moscow and St. Petersburg switched to distance learning due to the pandemic. As noted in the Ministry of Education and Science, universities in the regions where there is a difficult epidemiological situation, also transferred to the “remote”.
In the capital, schoolchildren in early October went on a two-week vacation due to the epidemiological situation in the city.
Since October 19, 500 thousand students in grades 6-11 have continued to study remotely. Students in grades 1-5 returned to school. All educational institutions maintain additional sanitary security measures introduced from September 1.
