More than 182,551,180 people worldwide have been infected with the new Sars-Cov-2 coronavirus, which causes covid-19 disease, according to the balance sheet based on official sources.
The United States continues to be the most affected country, both in number of deaths and infected, with more than 605,000 deaths and almost 34 million cases, according to data from the Johns Hopkins University.

After the United States, the most affected countries are Brazil, with 520,000 deaths and over 18 million cases, India, with 400,000, Mexico, with 233,000 and Peru, with 192 thousand deaths.
Among the hardest hit countries, Peru has the highest number of deaths in relation to its population, with 584 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants, followed by Hungary (310), Bosnia (295), Czech Republic (283) and Macedonia of the North (263).
Due to corrections made by authorities and late notifications, the increase in daily numbers may not exactly match the difference with the data advanced the day before.
