From Sunday January 24, in French airports and ports, travelers wishing to return to the territory from another European Union country will have to present a negative PCR test of less than 72 hours. A measure that does not apply to land borders: truck drivers and cross-border travelers do not need to be tested on each journey.
For the time being, the French government has not given details on passengers on trains coming from foreign countries. The travelers met on Friday January 22 in Brussels (Belgium) by journalists from France Télévisions are rather in favor of these measures: “If you have to make one to go to France, why not “ indicates a passerby. “I did a test before traveling, it’s a question of responsibility “ says another. The railway companies are calling for standardization of the rules. Details are to be released on Saturday in a new decree.
