Valve has added a single case within a Counter Strike 2 map and that changed everything. It might seem like a small thing, but it’s actually a pretty significant change for the shooter community.
But let’s go in order to understand what has changed and what impact it has on matches.
Counter-Strike 2 Cashier Change Details
The changes in question are linked to Dust2a classic map that has been around for a long time in Counter-Stike. Near area A, there are some crates and an additional one has been added there with the most recent update.
As you can see in the video abovewhich shows the old version of the map, in this area a pair of players could work together to make one of them jump to the elevated part of the area. This move required some experience and cooperation.
Now, as you can see in the tweet belowthe crate allows a single player to perform the same action, without any kind of support and without much effort. In short, it is a way to simplify movement on the map, but after so many years it is a change of some weight that veterans will have to deal with in terms of tactical approach.
Counter-Strike 2 users online are debating whether it is a positive or negative thing and overall there seems to be cautious optimism: after all, changing things a bit on an old map could be interesting.
Still speaking of the game, we remind you that Valve earned a billion dollars in 2023 from CS2 prize funds.
