The Villa de Fuente Álamo International Triathlon – Gran Premio Melones El Abuelo will once again be held on the streets of Fuente Álamo and the beaches of Puerto de Mazarrón. This Saturday, more than 600 triathletes will participate in its 32nd edition. The tour will start on Rihuete beach, in Puerto de Mazarrón, with a 750-meter swimming test. Then you will continue with a 25 kilometer bike ride that will include the challenging 'Alto de la Cuesta' in Los Ruices (352 meters altitude), before reaching the Fuentealamero municipality. Finally, the circuit will culminate with a 5 kilometer race through the streets of Fuente Álamo.
This triathlon, the most prestigious of those held in the Region, reaffirms once again “its commitment to the solidarity and well-being of triathletes by offering exclusive services, such as parking for vans, and allocating the funds collected to Afacmur, an association that supports children with cancer. In addition, it provides complete accommodation to guarantee a memorable experience for all participants,” highlighted the Fuente Álamo City Council in a statement.

Legacy Award for Luis León Sánchez
Luis León Sánchez will receive the Legacy award this coming Friday, at the Mula Flor' 24 ceremony.
