Cospedal invents in the congress that Villarejo “was not active” when he met with him

The general secretary of the Popular Party for a decade, María Dolores de Cospedal, has assured with rotunity, and on several occasions, that Commissioner José Manuel Villarejo “was not active” when she met him on several occasions. The published recordings show Cospedal speaking with Villarejo after the outbreak of the Gürtel case or that of Box B of the PP, 16 years after Villarejo would return to the police after a decade in leave (1983-1993).

I doubt that this political police have ever existed, at least at that time,” Cospedal replied to Ione Belarra, of Podemos.
