The correspondent of the Izvestia TV channel Alexander Safiulin showed what the village of Sartana looks like near Mariupol after shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Judging by the destruction that we now see here, aimed fire was fired here. Look, there is practically nothing left of the house. The supermarket is also completely broken,” the journalist said.
He also showed a wrecked car with Ukrainian license plates, in which civilians were probably trying to leave. There were bullet holes on the car, and traces of blood are visible on the front seat. Presumably, the shell wounded the driver of the car.
On February 17, the situation in Donbass escalated significantly. The Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics turned to the Russian Federation for help.
