The decision to conduct door-to-door survey was taken in the meeting of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. In the survey, 13-14 lakh houses will go to the Health Department teams of Delhi Government. There will be a survey of about 57 lakh people in 11 districts of Delhi. The role of this survey will be important in the isolation process of suspicious people.
A total of 9500 teams will conduct the survey
There will be 2-5 people in each survey team. There will be 9500 teams in total. There will be a survey of people living in densely populated and containment zones. At present, the Delhi government is doing contact tracing on the phone of 16 people with its contacts when a positive case comes up, this survey team will have to do contact tracing face to face.
There will also be a rapid antigen test
It will be the responsibility of these teams to conduct rapid antigen tests in densely populated areas where the number of infections and contact is high, and also to ensure that the RT-PCR test of the people who have come negative from the Rapid Antigen Test. Should also be done.
The teams made for the survey will also see whether the people living in home isolation are following the rules properly or not. For this, these teams will also go to the homes of patients living in home isolation.
