new Delhi: The World Health Organization (WHO) has expressed increasing concern over the growing corona infection in India. The WHO says that 40 percent of the world’s one-day cases are coming from India. The death toll is also 26 per cent of the people who die worldwide in a day. But the government is saying in Parliament that the number of people recovering from Corona in India is also increasing.
Keeping the data on the first day of the Manasutra session, Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan informed that as of September 11, the total corona cases in India were 45 lakh 62 thousand and 76 thousand 271 people died. At that time, the death rate of corona in the country was 1.67 percent, while the death rate in the world was 3.2 percent. By then 35 lakh 42 thousand people in the country had also recovered from Corona.
According to the government, there are about 92 percent mild cases of corona in India. Of these, only 5.8 per cent of cases required oxygen therapy. Whereas only 1.7 percent of the cases required oxygen.
Better conditions in India than the world
Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan said, “India has managed to control the corona case and death rate per 10 lakh population. There were 3328 cases reported per 10 lakh population and 55 deaths, which affected our corona Like much less than other countries. “
There are few states where Corona has suffered a severe attack. According to the information given by the government, there are one lakh corona case states in the country – Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Odisha, West Bengal and Assam.
The government says that due to the first public curfew and then the lockdown, there was a lot of damage in the country. 1.4-29 million people were saved from Corona by the lockdown. If there was no lockdown, there would have been 37 to 78 thousand deaths.
