Delhi Police has cut 5 lakh invoices for not wearing masks
Please tell that on Thursday, Delhi Police cut 2,110 challans for not wearing masks. After which the total number of challans has been 4,98,984. According to Delhi Police data, most challans have been cut for not wearing masks, while a total of 3,368 challans were issued for spitting in public places. Apart from these, 37,774 invoices have been issued for violation of social distancing norms. Delhi Police is also registering the number of violations for the purpose of eliminating the possibility of any dispute or claim by the accused. More monitoring continues in crowded markets like Sadar Bazar, Lajpat Nagar, Sarojini Nagar.
Corona cases rise wildly in Delhi
Significantly, on Thursday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had said that anyone found without a mask in public places will be fined Rs 2,000.
