+++ Update, 6:35 p.m .: After several other federal states, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania has also tightened its corona rules. From Thursday (November 25th, 2021) on, events indoors, restaurants, baths and hotels may only be attended by vaccinated and convalescent people who can also submit a daily corona test. This 2G-plus rule provides for the corona warning level “orange”, as Social Minister Stefanie Drese (SPD) announced after the cabinet meeting on Tuesday.
The “orange” warning level is reached when a region of the country or the whole country has a hospitalization incidence of more than 6. This is currently the case in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Dance events are also prohibited and Christmas markets are only allowed to be visited by those who have been vaccinated and those who have recovered.
Hesse’s Prime Minister Volker Bouffier considers vaccination compulsory to be constitutional

Corona situation: Thuringia issues curfew for unvaccinated people
+++ Update, 4:58 p.m.: Stricter corona measures will apply in Hamburg from Monday. The 2G rule then also applies to theaters, cinemas, hotels and other leisure facilities in the Hanseatic city. Mayor Peter Tschentscher (SPD*) called the 3G rule in effect to date a “wrong signal”. The NDR reports.
According to Tschentscher, the stricter corona restrictions that are now in force in Hamburg are intended to increase the vaccination incentive for the population. Children and young people are initially excluded from the 2G rule.
Partial corona lockdown in Thuringia

New corona measures in Thuringia: 2G in retail, clubs and bars have to close
According to the new regulation, the 2G rule is to apply nationwide in future to retail businesses that go beyond the basic requirements, and the same applies to all events, including in the open air. The same applies to visiting restaurants and museums – discos, clubs, bars and amusement parks have to close completely. The Christmas markets are also canceled in all of Thuringia. In addition, new contact restrictions come into force.
On Tuesday, the RKI reported an incidence of 685.3 for Thuringia and a total of 7400 people actively infected with corona nationwide. The situation in hospitals in Thuringia is also particularly tense. As of Tuesday, more than a third of the intensive care beds available in the country were occupied by Covid-19 patients.
Corona situation in Thuringia: the country wants to move patients to other federal states
The hospitalization rate was by far the highest nationwide at 18.3 corona patients per 100,000 inhabitants in a seven-day period. According to Health Minister Heike Werner (Linke), the country is currently preparing the Transfer of hospital patients to other federal states* before.
