A few days ago, quite big news was announced locally in Mexico, given that a cyber attack was recorded on the systems of the well-known store Coppel, which sells all kinds of products that most people order with extended credits and months to years. This hack had the consequence that some had their accounts completely clean until they reached zero, but although this may seem positive, there are those who have had the opposite happen, with even more debts.
A client who calls himself Kevin Sanchez On social networks, he mentioned that they had a debt of 30 thousand pesos, which was reduced to nothing when the events occurred a few days ago, but a short time later he reviewed the account statement again to find an unpleasant surprise. And the thing is that the accumulation he had in BanCoppel has now risen to no more and no less than $60,000 MXN, Therefore, he has accessed videos to ask the corresponding authorities for help.
Here you can see his testimony in TikTok:

It is worth mentioning that the user will be willing to visit the offices to receive a response to such a debt, since he would have proof that what he owes would only be amounting to 30,000, the same amount that was attached to him for many years due to the issue of the interests. Likewise, it invites users to review their accounts so that the same situation does not happen to them and they accumulate triple or double what they currently owe.
It is worth mentioning that Coppel confirmed that they did indeed suffer a cyber attack and are now working to strengthen security so that the same thing does not happen. However, they still don't mention that they are going to solve customers' problems.

Author's note: It's a little sad that instead of being benefited, they are affected twice as much. So, we will have to wait to see if the store fixes it or will not have arguments to cover the new debts.
