CONMEBOL draw for the Copa Libertadores and Sudamericana 2024: everything you need to know

Both the Copa Libertadores 2024 and the Copa Sudamericana 2024, the two most important continental club tournaments in America, are coming to an end in the group stage, in a definition that will take a little longer than usual taking into account the matches postponed in Porto Alegre due to the complicated temporary conditions that hit that city in Brazil.

The draw for the Copa Libertadores and Sudamericana 2024 will take place this Monday June 3with a time to be confirmed, at the CONMEBOL headquarters located in Luque, Paraguay.

On the same day it will be determined how the keys of the stage prior to the Final Phase of the Sudamericana, also called Playoffs either 16th final.

In this instance there will be the eight teams that have finished second in their zones and those that have finished in third place in each zone of the Copa Libertadores will be integrated, creating a general table with their performances that will determine the respective crosses.

Each 1st place qualifies for the Round of 16 directly, while each 2nd place qualifies for the Round of 16, where they must meet the aforementioned third team from the Copa Libertadores.

The final match of this edition will be played on November 30, 2024, a single match and in the Argentine Republic stadium to be confirmed.
