The chancellor insisted on his position by pointing directly to the weapons manufacturers. He accused them of negligence having directed his publicity efforts for years at young people like the author of the shooting killed on Tuesday, Salvador Ramos.
“The company that produces this weapon, AR15, advertises its weapons with very young people, as you can see on its website. There is gross negligence on the part of this industry. We are not going to take our finger off the line, we are going to move on, ”she said.
