The general secretary of the PSRM “feels that this lack of specificity may have led to errors in interpretation”
The secretary general of the PSRM, Diego Conesa, acknowledged this Saturday that
he was not “correct” in the explanations he gave in the regional committee about the conversations prior to the motion of no confidence, which, «as has been shown, was and continues to be very necessary to remove the corruption of San Esteban. I feel that this lack of specificity could have led to errors in interpretation.
The secretary general of the Murcian Socialists refers to his explanations, within the meeting, about the failure of the motion of censure against the government of López Miras. Diego Conesa directly attributed the failure of the initiative to Félix Bolaños, current Minister of the Presidency and strong man of Ferraz, of whom he assured that he was warned that the necessary votes were not counted by the Citizens’ deputies for the motion to prosper.
Conesa explained that «the only reality is that the PSRM leadership informed the federal leadership that the
six deputies of Citizens would sign the motion of censure, as it finally happened. Although we all know that three of those deputies broke their word and their signature, thus managing to maintain the corruption of the PP in the Region of Murcia.
He also clarified that “the PSRM leadership informed the federal leadership in what situation were the conversations with Citizens in which it was reported that the six deputies of this formation were going to sign, as it finally happened.” «
I acknowledge that I was not present at any of those meetings and the reality is that the leadership of the PSRM reported on the situation of the conversations that were being held with Citizens in Murcia, ”said Conesa.
The general secretary of the PSRM asserted that the only reality is that “the leadership of the PSRM took the initiative to present the motion of censure. Although finally three deputies broke their word and their signature, thus managing to maintain the corruption of the PP in the Region of Murcia.
