It has been one of the most important films of last season and everything indicates that it will continue to be in the coming months: ‘Conclave’ considerably expands its presence in the movie theaters of Spain after the death of Pope Francis. The tape directed by Edward Berger has returned to attract the attention of the audience a few days after a new conclave in the Vatican is held, especially since its premiere was still very recent in the memory of the cinephiles and its plot revolves around the choice of a new pontiff.
With an accumulated of almost 900,000 spectators in Spain, the film will be available in more than 150 rooms from April 25, which will increase the 6 million euros that it has collected in the country so far. This will have a presence in almost all autonomous communities, allowing that it can be enjoyed in the cinema or, if someone prefers it, under rent in Amazon Video, Filmin Plus, Rakuten TV or Apple TV, platforms to which it reached April 20. The sale in Blu-ray and DVD will be a week later, on the 30th of the month.
The truth is that, since the death of Pope Francis last Monday, his audience has shot at 283%.
