‘Conclave’ returns to the cinema: 150 rooms add to the screening of the film in Spain after the death of Pope Francis

It has been one of the most important films of last season and everything indicates that it will continue to be in the coming months: ‘Conclave’ considerably expands its presence in the movie theaters of Spain after the death of Pope Francis. The film was one of the great favorites to the Oscars on March 2, when the awards season with the best script adapted for Peter Straughan ended. Other awards to which they were were the Oscar for Best Film, Best Protagonist Actor for Ralph Fiennes and best cast actress for Isabella Rossellini. The night, however, crowned Anora (2024) of Sean Beker.

On the other hand, the film also succeeded in the BAFTA receiving the awards for the best film, Best British movie, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Assembly.
