Companies Tieto-Evry starts co-operation negotiations in Finland, Sweden and Norway – Impact on possible 160 jobs in Finland

The negotiations concern a maximum of 250 jobs in Sweden, a maximum of 190 jobs in Norway and a maximum of 160 jobs in Finland.

IT service company Tieto-Evry will launch staff talks, the company said Thursday in the bulletin.

Tieto-Evry Connect’s business will launch an efficiency program with the goal of saving EUR 50 million annually. In total, this is estimated to affect up to 600 jobs globally.

The negotiations concern a maximum of 250 jobs in Sweden, a maximum of 190 jobs in Norway and a maximum of 160 jobs in Finland, the press release states.

According to the release, staff-related savings targets include reducing administrative roles and increasing automation.

Any measures will be implemented by the end of 2022.

For efficiency projects In addition to personnel costs, costs related to external procurement and subcontractors are included.

Tieto-Evry says the measures will enable additional investment in multi-cloud services.

Tieto-Evry was born in December 2019, when Tieto and Evry merged into one company.
