Oura’s Chief Operating Officer Chapp has served as CEO since Oura’s previous CEO Harpreet Singh Rai left his post.
In early December, Oura said Rain would resign. Rai had started as CEO in 2018.
Last in the fall, Oura released the third version of his smart ring.
Oura was founded in Oulu in 2013. In the spring of last year, it had about 250 employees, half of whom worked in Finland.
Oura’s net sales in 2020 were approximately EUR 56.8 million.
