Kemira plans to introduce a new operating model and organization and therefore start change negotiations in Finland. The scope of the negotiations includes the company’s entire personnel in Finland, about 800 people.

Possible ones personnel reductions are aimed at research and development and other tasks outside of production. On the production side, Kemira employs around 280 people in Finland.
The goal of the organizational changes is to enable profitable growth and move towards more sustainable operations, Kemira says in its press release.
Kemira, which manufactures industrial chemicals, employs around 5,000 people worldwide.
